Note: Our wool balls arrive unscented. We include a separate small bottle of pure essential oil so you can add as much or as little scent to the balls as you like.

The Detergent:

• Our Own Olive Oil Based Surfactant: We handcraft our own traditional castile soap right here on the farm using organic, cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil. We choose olive oil because it provides an exceptionally gentle clean that protects and preserves the natural fibers of your clothing, making it a superior choice to harsher coconut or tallow bases. It rinses away beautifully, leaving fabrics soft and gentle against your skin.
• Sodium Percarbonate: A gentle, oxygen-based mineral worker that naturally lifts away stains and brightens your fabrics.

Our own handmade Cold-Processed Castile Soap (Saponified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

The Performance:

True Concentrate: Just 1-2 Tablespoons per load.

Instant Dissolve: Ground to an ultra fine powder to work perfectly in all water temperatures and HE machines.

These bulk refills are packaged in food grade, resealable kraft bags.

For 1st time customers, when you purchase either 2 bags of our 32oz or 56oz detergent OR 1 bag of our 90oz detergent, place a Wooden Tablespoon in your cart & the spoon is FREE! 

Common Applications:

• Laundry: Use 1 tablespoon for light loads and 2 for heavily soiled garments. Safe for HE machines and all water temperatures.

• Wash Soap: While washing, drop a spoonful into warm water or sprinkle directly onto those hard to clean spots.

• Soft Scrub for Tub, Toilet, or Sink: Simply sprinkle on wet surface, scrub, and rinse.

• Stain Remover: Sprinkle detergent onto the stain and gently rub with a small, wet brush (use cold water). Rinse with cool water immediately.

• Shower Glass: Sprinkle detergent onto wet surface and scrub. Rinse with cool water. To remove any remaining white residue from glass, use a 50/50 mix of vinegar & water to finish.

• Degreaser: Apply directly to greasy range hoods or garage floors with a damp brush and rinse thoroughly.

• Doors, Trim, & Baseboards: Add a tablespoon to a bucket of warm water.

• Carpets: Always spot test to check compatibility. For stains, follow the instructions above for Stain Remover. For general deodorizing, dust the carpet with the detergent. After 30 minutes, vacuum thoroughly.

• NOTE: Our Detergent is a natural Degreaser and Deodorizer. However, Natural does not mean that it is weak. Read all care instructions prior to use. If the item says do not use a Degreaser, then do not use this detergent.

Application Instructions:

The key to lasting scent without fabic damage is ensuring the oil is fully absorbed before it touches your clothes.

• Prep the Balls:

  • Apply 3-6 drops of your essential oil or blend directly onto each wool ball.

• Allow Absorption:

  • Let the balls sit for 10-20 minutes (some recommend up to 24 hours for intense fragrance). This prevents oil spots from transferring to your laundry. 

• The Scent Hack (Best Method):

  • For the strongest, safest scent, run your regular drying cycle first with 2 unscented wool balls. Apply essential oil to the 3rd ball and allow it to sit and absorb the essential oil. When the clothes are dry, toss in the 3rd scented wool ball and run the dryer on an Air Fluff (no-heat) cycle for 10-15 minutes.
